Soul Locks

Once you have fully scrolled an equipment (0 slots left), you can visit Ginny at the Perion Excavation Camp to buy Soul Locks for 444,444 mesos each. A Soul Lock will bind the equipment to your account and afterwards, the equipment will not be able to be traded or sold to others. You will only be able to transfer the equipment within your account, through storage.

When you use a Soul Lock on your equipment, new upgrade slots will be unlocked. Inspired by Selene, the amount of new upgrade slots will depend on the required level and the original amount of slots for the equipment:

Level Req. 3 or 4 slots 5 or 6 slots 7 or more slots
1 ~ 69 2 2 2
70 ~ 119 3 4 5
120 ~ 199 4 6 8
200+ 7 11 15

For example, Brown Work Gloves (Level 10) come with 7 slots originally. If you use the table above, that means that they will only get 2 new upgrade slots after being soul-locked.

Blood Larceny Gloves (Level 80) come with 5 slots originally. If you use the table above, that means that Blood Larceny Gloves will get 4 new upgrade slots after being soul-locked.

Inert Presto Gloves (Level 200) come with 5 slots originally. If you use the table above, that means that Inert Presto Gloves will get 11 new upgrade slots after being soul-locked.

Soul Scrolls

After you use a Soul Lock on your equipment, you can no longer use normal scrolls on it. You can only use Soul Scrolls on soul-locked equipment. Soul Scrolls will always upgrade the stats of your equipment and work similarly to Chaos Scrolls Of Goodness (CSOG). However, the amount of gains from a Soul Scroll will greatly depends on the current stats of the equipment. The higher the current stats are, the higher your gain could be for each Soul Scroll that is used. Soul Scrolls have a 100% success rate.

To find out where you can get Soul Scrolls, please refer to the leveling guide.
